Education

The UPO believes education is the single most important skill that can keep and maintain peace, social cohesion, justice and peaceful co-existence in communities. Our intervention in the education sector focusses on primary education. Our projects include the construction of schools, provision of school supplies, and empowering children with life changing skills. We also provide psychosocial support for children affected by wars/disasters.The UPOs education program advocates for education policy changes, increase in budget allocations and promotes the importance of girls’ education. These efforts are carried out primarily through raising awareness in the communities.
