Food Security and Livelihood
Our intervention focuses on provision emergency agriculture seeds, inputs, tools distribution for the small scale farmers, livestock, animal feeding, vocational training, income generation activities for the most vulnerable families, restocking, fuel efficient stoves, etc . Since the inception of organization UPO has reached almost 240,000 most affected and vulnerable persons with FSL services across Darfur that worth almost $US 6.2 million. Food Security and Livelihood projects were aimed to provide emergency livelihood starting kits, vocational trainings, IGAs, entrepreneurships for the most vulnerable populations including at-risk youths, women and people with especial needs in IDPs and rural communities. Beside these seeds, agricultural inputs and improving animal health and production and build community resilience.
